攝影給予了我很多近距離觀察不同事物和不同群體的機(jī)會(huì)，在我探索不同的創(chuàng)作方式和表達(dá)方式的同時(shí)，也讓我更加客觀地去認(rèn)知我周?chē)氖澜纭！禟itsch In China》是我對(duì)中國(guó)式審美的一種反思，也是第一次嘗試將自己的圖片輸出成實(shí)體的貼畫(huà)；《Roleplay》，給了我一個(gè)和朋友近距離接觸的機(jī)會(huì)，是對(duì)于個(gè)體掙扎的觀察與共情；《Everything I Never Told You》是我自己曾經(jīng)的經(jīng)歷與書(shū)中東方式家庭教育的連接，也是我第一次對(duì)書(shū)這個(gè)介質(zhì)，對(duì)圖像與文字的探索。作為一個(gè)目前還生活在中國(guó)的國(guó)際學(xué)生， 我希望我的作品和經(jīng)歷可以向以英語(yǔ)為主要話語(yǔ)權(quán)的藝術(shù)世界展現(xiàn)一個(gè)看待新時(shí)代中國(guó)年輕人的新視角。

Photography offers me opportunities to observe different things and people at a close distance. It makes me perceive the world around me more objectively while I was exploring different methods of creating and expressing at the same time. Kitsch in China gives me the opportunity to reflect on the culture and aesthetics in my country, and it’s my first time printing my photos as stickers; Roleplay brings my friend closer to me and helps me resonate with individual struggles; Everything I Never Told You is a connection between my experience and the oriental style of family education in the novel of the same name, and my first time exploring the media of book, and the combination of images and text. As an international student who grows up and is still living in China, I hope my work can bring up a new perspective of Chinese in the new generation to the Western-centered art world.
